Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 9

It has been a long long time since I blogged this show. But that doesn’t keep me from watching it, its pretty much own by itself too.

Note that I changed my custom header. Took me hours to get the idea and execute my new custom header plan.

Also, to compensate the 6 episodes that I missed, its the jx styled brand of humour again. Which necessarily means bad.

Oh Winry.

Oh Winry. I see what you did.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 3

Okay, I’m beginning to have doubts on the show. Action-wise, it doesn’t lose to its counterpart, but the gag on mistaking Al for being the Hagaren is much overused, far more than HnG was. It might seem fresh now, but if I see it basically every week, not only that its not funny, it also spoils the mood to a certain extent.

Also, the show takes on a lighter mood, which I feel is inferior compared to its darker counterpart. The darker counterpart was simply… stunning, due to the tense fight sequences and gripping plot, as in, it doesn’t let you go. Unlike S2, which literally lets you go after a gag or two during a tense moment.

Fullmetal Alchemist 2 Episode 2

Pretty goddamned awesome. The flashback was lighter than it was in Season 1, but at least it gives more depth into the show. Like.. why the hell is the world an eye. And why is that world guy such a bastard.

Anyway, off to my screenshots.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 1

Heck, this will be one hell of a great show, I sense.

It was a pretty awesome episode, in which the Ice Alchemist happened to threaten the peace and security of the town, with the dogs of the societies all trying to stop him. OP by YUI was AWESOME>>>>. AWESOME>>>>.

There were many laughable moments, but most of them were centered around Edward’s height, which I felt HnG-gag-overuse-ish.

Also, I did not like the weird character designs. Never took much screenshots, since I was lazy.

Armstrong wins, hands down.
